Baden-Powell Council (BSA) Scouts at the Blair Atholl International Patrol Jamborette

Every two years since 1946, the Scottish Council of the UK Scout Association has held a unique Scout encampment on the grounds of Blair Castle in Perthshire, Scotland. The Blair Atholl Jamborette is made up of international patrols of Scouts - each consisting of half Scottish Scouts and Scouts from overseas. The Scouts function as a patrol during the ten days of the Jamborette, and then each of the international Scouts spends up to a week in the home of a Scottish Scout.

The Baden-Powell Council, BSA, located in the center of New York State, has sent a patrol to the Jamborette fourteen times - in 1988, 1996, 1998, 2000, 2002, 20042006, 2008, 2010, 2012, 2014, 2016 and 2018. Unfortunately, the 2020 Jamborette was canceled - but we went in 2022 and we plan to go again in 2024
